Outer housings for braking & shifting cables

Most cyclists pay less attention to cables and their housings. Only when brakes or gears no longer function properly do brake cables and gear shift cables and their sheaths receive attention. These components play a decisive role in safe cycling. Damaged sheaths lead to corrosion of the cables and thus to a reduced service life and performance. A brake that no longer works or works poorly can, in the worst case, lead to dangerous injuries. A damaged gearshift cable prevents proper gear shifting. Regularly check your cables and sheaths for damage and replace them if necessary.
