Passion for Sponsoring

Talent, Diligence and Discipline. Effectiveness and Efficiency. Passion and Commitment. Pain. Team Spirit. Cycling is no sports for mollycoddles. We know that from our own experience.

We support cyclists because we have great respect for their decision in favour of cycling because we know what hardships they have to accept. We have respect for their effort which is the requirement for every success.

With Each Other For Each Other

We want to give our sponsored riders the perfect technical base to make the system of rider and bicycle work at its best. We want the rider to have his head clear in a competition so he or she can bring out his best.

First-class results confirm the mutual decision for each other. Just as we help the riders to achieve optimum performance they help us to learn. They help us to become better. At Messingschlager we do not regard sponsoring as a one-way street. Sponsoring is a journey that we undertake with dedication – at least until we reach the finishing line.

Matthias Schindler

Matthias Schindler

Matthias, born in 1983, is in his main job a police officer for the state of Bavaria. He is an excellent example for some of the best virtues somebody can have: willpower and reaching ambitious goals in tricky life situations. During a medical check-up in 2010 a tumor was found in his spine which had to be removed. Through this operation he lost every sense in his legs, but with a great amount of energy and willpower he managed to stay in his job and even do road racing. He was acknowledged by the Bavarian police administration as top athlete in paracycling and he was taken into the „Talent Team Rio 2016“.

Lukas Knopf

“In 2009, I was inspired not only to ride my bike, but also to jump, spin and twirl it. Through online appearances and first contest participations in 2014, I made my breakthrough in mountain bike dirt jump/slopestyle and have been competing worldwide ever since. I can proudly say that I have turned my hobby into a profession and thanks also to Messingschlager and KMC, who support the whole thing with a firm kick.”
